Arthur Mawer has a bachelors in Politics and Spanish from the University of Manchester. He has a strong interest in Latin America, having spent a semester working with a local charity in Colombia in 2023 and studying at the University of Havana in 2024. While at university, he focused on the use of music and film to promote social change, alongside peace and development studies with an emphasis on the role of local actors in creating sustainable practices. As part of the CCC team, he aims to raise awareness in the UK about the issues faced in Colombia and Latin America, and further utilize his experience and knowledge to effect change in the region.
