We work in the rural regions of Chocó & Valle del Cauca, tackling high student dropout rates, improving the quality of education and preventing forced recruitment of girls and boys into illegal armed groups.
Chocó, a region of Colombia that has historically been inhabited by Afro-descendant and Indigenous communities, has been particularly affected by the armed conflict and child recruitment. Many children and young people have nowhere to go to be safe from the violence surrounding them and struggle to make plans outside of the conflict.
Through football, we give the opportunity to girls and boys at risk of forced recruitment into illegal armed groups to develop abilities for self-care and peaceful conflict resolution, and to be in a safe space where children can simply be children.
What will my donation support?
£30 will give one child a full football kit and boots.
£450 will give a whole team of children their football kit and boots.
£215 will train 5 teachers on the prevention of child recruitment.
£1,000 will allow us to restore a football pitch

Yes, they work the same as a cash donation in that anyone can send them to us without providing their details. If people wish to hear from us in the future, they can provide their details voluntarily. But all donations whether anonymous or not go through a stringent vetting process.
