Laura Kadluczka

Communications Intern

She is a final-year undergraduate student of Spanish and Italian at University College London (UCL), with a strong academic focus on Latin American politics, culture, and development. Her interest in the region was deepened during a study abroad semester at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she became particularly engaged with issues of human rights, Indigenous rights, and environmental justice.

Throughout her degree, she has focused on international relations, media, and the social and cultural histories of Latin America and the Spanish-speaking world. These academic interests, combined with her time in Chile, have shaped her aspiration to pursue a career in humanitarian aid, working alongside communities affected by inequality. She is inspired by Children Change Colombia’s commitment to creating lasting change for children across Colombia, and as an intern, she is excited to contribute to a mission she strongly believes in while supporting meaningful and sustainable impact in the region.
