Marcela is a pediatrician and founder of Casa de Matrioskas, a space designed to accompany families from conception to the first years of parenting with special emphasis on perinatal mental health care and the protection of sexual and reproductive rights.
She is trained in human lactation, infant massage and nurturing touch, free movement, ergonomic babywearing, infant sleep and physiological parenting, tools that she uses in her consultations to facilitate the construction of healthy bonds between caregivers and infants.
