Project and Fundraising Intern
Caitlin Yew is completing her undergraduate degree in History at the University of York. Her interest in Latin America has grown significantly over the past few years, particularly after visiting the region several times and learning about Colombia’s rich history, culture, and challenges.
As a history student, she has developed a strong interest in human rights, social justice, and the ways in which historical inequalities continue to shape communities today. These led her to apply for an internship with Children Change Colombia, whose commitment to supporting children and young people affected by conflict and inequality inspires her.
She is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the organization’s work promoting children’s rights and social change and deepen her understanding of Colombia.
