Research Volunteer

She is a Colombian journalist with experience in armed conflict and humanitarian aid. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Gender, Violence and Conflict at the University of Sussex in Brighton (UK), where her research focuses on forms of child recruitment and the governance of armed actors from a gender perspective.

She has worked for the newspapers El Tiempo and the Colombia+20 project of El Espectador, as well as for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). She is now excited to be part of Children Change Colombia, where she hopes to help explore new ways of working with children in her homeland, so they can build life projects far removed from war.
