Gift Aid
If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation to Children Change Colombia by 25% with Gift Aid, with no extra cost to you!
Gift Aid is a scheme set up by the UK government to allow charities to claim an extra 25p for every £1 they receive in donations. Once we receive your donation, we can claim an extra 25% from HMRC through the money that you paid in tax.
This means that it costs you nothing, as long as you pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the amount of Gift Aid claimed on your donations.
If you pay the higher tax rate of 40%, you can also claim tax back on the extra 20% by submitting an annual Tax Return to HMRC and listing your charity donations for the year.
How to sign up to Gift Aid
If you would like to sign up to Gift Aid, all you need to do is fill out our donation form and send it back to us via email to [email protected] or by post to our office at Richbell House, 5 Richbell Place, London, WC1N 3LA.
