My name is Marcela, I am 15 years old. I have always had a great interest in artistic makeup and I want to dedicate my life to that, because it is what really makes me happy. I live with my mother, my stepfather, my brother, my sister-in-law and my nephew.
I would like to be able to say that we don’t have problems, but the truth is that relationships in my house have been problematic for as long as I can remember. There are always discussions because they don’t value what I do with makeup, they always tell me that I’m wasting my time and that it’s useless.
In the project, I have learned many things, such as to be more tolerant of the differences I have with my mother, because I have learned that empathy is the most important thing to continue building a healthy relationship with her. In this way my relationship improved, and I understand that she is a human being. I now understand that she had a difficult childhood and I can help her in whatever she needs, because even though she is older, she knows that it is okay to ask for help, I am your right hand and I feel very good being it.
