Martina Yuxin Xie is currently studying for a master’s degree in Latin American Studies at University College London. She previously obtained a first-class honours bachelor’s degree in Portuguese and Communication Studies from the Macau University of Science and Technology. Her academic research focuses on the economic and political development of Latin America and international relations. During her master’s programme, she specialised in researching gender-based violence in Colombia.
Joining Children Change Colombia is a cause she is extremely enthusiastic about, as it will allow her to assist children and adolescents affected by inequality.
